A Fool Proof Curl

CortneyAugust 7, 2020

Today I am sharing a fool proof curl that is virtually impossible to mess up! Bubble wand curls with L’ange’s Le Perlé wand! This is a great tool for those who struggle with normal curling wands. The bubble shapes help keep your hair from sliding and adds extra texture depending on where your hair lands along the wand.

Hair Prep:

I love using Style Revival Dry Shampoo to add texture, create volume and absorb oil (especially if this is not a hair washing day). I apply this to my roots in sections and it doesn’t add any sticky residue. Then I mist Rival Heat Shield all over to protect from the heat while styling. This is my favorite scent ever, like watermelon gummy worms which is just an added bonus.

Separate your hair:

If you have medium to short hair, you can just separate top and bottom but if you have longer hair, you may want to separate sides as well.

Using the bubble wand takes all of the guess work out of achieving the perfect curl! The bubbles do all the work for you. The longer you hold it on, the tighter your curls will be. I always wrap my hair around the barrel going away from my face. If I want more of a wavy look than a ringlet, I will take wider sections of hair. Finish with Managé marula oil and Trois Chic hairspray to set!

This tool is on sale right now for over $100 off! If you can’t decide on which tool to get, you may love the Le Cinq which includes the bubble attachment plus other barrels of various sizes!

These curls are so fun and easy for beginners or anyone in a hurry. If you try these curls out! Make sure to tag me on Instagram @cortneywheeler so I can see them! If you’d like to watch my tutorial using the Le Perlé, you can find that here.
