Coffee with Cortney 7/26

Welcome back to Coffee with Cortney! Every Sunday grab a cup and come chat with me while I answer my most frequently asked questions, talk about subjects that are heavy on my heart or just share things I am loving. Today I am talking about my survival beauty tools! If I was stuck on an island and could only bring the bare minimums… what would I bring?! Let’s dive in!

Q: If you could only live with one product or tool, what would it be?!

A: This question intrigued me and I let my imagination go wild with turning it into a survival game, lol. So I rephrased the question to “if I were deserted on an island (with electricity haha) and could only bring one tool and product for Hair, Skin, Teeth and Makeup… What would I bring?”

Hair Product: Hands down, I would bring the Le Volume as my go to tool! This blowdrying brush is a great multi purpose tool as it can be used on dry or wet hair. It is the perfect tool for surviving in between washes and keeping a salon quality blow out. HERE is a post how I achieve my at home blow outs!

Skin: If you guys read my Daily Skincare post last week then you know that a serious skincare regimen is fairly new to me. I have never been super into taking care of my skin until recently when I was introduced to the You-Ology Customized system. Right now, my daily routine is about 5-6 steps depending on if it is day or night but if I could only bring one product for my imaginary deserted island, it would definitely be the Rose Water Toning Spritz. It is so refreshing and refreshes my skin while soothing and hydrating it as well. Plus, it smells so good and feels so clean on my face which I feel like would be super nice while “stranded”.. haha.

Teeth: I would definitely bring my Banana White Whitening system because it would keep my teeth white with my newly developed island tan and there really is nothing better than a nice tan and bright white smile. Plus, the whitening tool would double as a flash light.. so it is a multipurpose tool. (Use code ‘CORTNEY50’ for 50% if you want to try it out).

Makeup: If you’ve followed me for a while, you can probably guess that my answer for this category is The Moodstruck Epic 4D Mascara. I have always been a mascara girl and feel like if you have great lashes, you can conquer the world!
