Laundry Room Tour

CortneySeptember 4, 2020

I laugh at myself thinking about how excited I am to share things like my kitchen reveal and today laundry room tour with you all. But as I get older, these are the things in life that excite me and you guys have been with me every step of the way so it really is like showing my best friends my new house. The renovation process felt like there was no end in sight so to be here today, standing in this space washing towels is honestly dreamy considering it never felt like we would get to this point lol.

The more I looked over our original plans of our laundry room, the more I realized our family really would benefit from having two sets of washer and dryers. These stackable ones were perfect because they can hold huge loads but save space since they store vertically. We optimized storage in every nook and cranny of this room so I could store my cleaning products, stock pile of toilet paper and paper towels as well as organize all of our dirty clothes making doing laundry a breeze.

This space also houses our dog washing station. With two big dogs who are in and out all day long, having a designated space to wash them off after a day of play is so nice. I call it our doggy spa and from the look on Ivory’s face, she is really enjoying the extra scrubs.

This room flows right off of the side entrance mud room but also has a side door leading to the master bedroom hallway. I love that the two entrances make this room easily accessible from both sides so I can pass through and change clothes over or start a new load in a jiffy.

For paint, we went with ‘Quiet Moments’ by Benjamin Moore. We’re obsessed with how it turned out!

Lovely, both ideas and execution! Inspiring to have such a nice laundry and glorious space to do it, and divine storage!!
The coat hangers, are they worth it? I get so frustrated with breakage or the hook turning whilst trying to hang up. Those look solid, no turning?
