I’ve invited you inside our home renovations the past couple of months, but today I’m asking you to step outside and check out our cozy chic backyard patio! I am starting to dream of how this space will come to life and excited to show you a peek into the decor ideas and inspo I’ve been loving. Even if you’re not renovating a home, you may find some new pieces for your very own Summer outdoor living spaces.

2. Hunter Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan

3. Hanging Clay Pots, Set of 9

4. ‘Hello’ Sign

5. Manchester Copper Patina Outdoor Wall Mount Light

6. Vista Three Piece Sofa Set

(Similar Patio Couch Set for Less)

7. Gray and Cream Geometric Outdoor Rug

8. Round Fire Bowl with Natural Gas Kit

9. Knotted Hanging Chair

10. Mabel Ceramic Stool

11.  Seagrass Wrapped Pitcher

When we purchased our new home, the kids and I were huge fans of the large outdoor living areas. Tons of grass to run and play, porches and patios for lounging – it really was a dream come true. Now that we’re so close to moving into this dream home, it was time to bring my visions to life. I’ve been pinning up a storm with some porch + patio inspo but you know I love to throw together a mood board and see how my decor ideas actually work together. Today I pulled some of my favorite pieces, from some of my favorite retailers and I think I’m liking it so far!

I want our back porch to be a place for relaxing, making s’mores, hosting guests or even reading a great book. I know it’s a place the kids and I will spend so much time so I want these Summer outdoor spaces to truly be a dream come true! What would you include in your dream outdoor space? Let me know in the comments below! I’m also including a few other porch and patios I’m loving in case you’re also looking for more inspiration. Be sure to follow along on Instagram (@CortneyWheeler) and Instagram stories, our move in date is right around the corner!

You definitely should have some hummingbird feeders and bird feeders. It’s really relaxing and fun to see these little guys visit all the time. A nice birdbath is great too! I love animals.
