CortneyJune 10, 2020

As I give all of my style and beauty tips this summer, I must first start with my favorite poolside and beachside accessory.. a great book! Today I am sharing my 2020 Summer Reading List for Christian Women and cannot wait to dive into these books as my hectic schedule winds down and I have some time back to reflect on the past year!

Summer Reading List for Christian Women

2020 has been a hard year for everyone. I have been more anxious than I have been in a long time and know that I am more easily triggered due to the craziness that has surrounded us lately. Regardless, I always turn to God and His word when I am feeling overwhelmed or on edge and now that the weather has warmed up and we will soon be settling into the new house, I will get some time to dive deep into my reading list. All of these books have been highly recommended to me and come with rave reviews from some of my favorite authors like Lysa Terkeurst.

If you find yourself in the market for a new devotional or read that can help you refocus on Gods plan and putting your faith into Him, I welcome you to read along with me. As always, I will give my honest feedback and hope to hear yours too!

Thanks for the recommendations! I ordered the devotional Embraced, and I love it! Thanks for sharing! Do you ever read Christian fiction, and if so, any recommendations there? Thanks!

I love Christian fiction…I am not a blogger or anything but I am an avid reader! If you have never read Francine Rivers’ Mark of the Lion series or Reedeming Love…they are great!!! Thank you for the suggestions Cortney! I am so excited you are posting book ideas! I can’t wait to read them!😊

I’m excited to try any and all of these! I need to get back to slowing down and reading an actual book not something on my phone. Do you or your significant other have any recommendations for Christian men? I’m trying to pick a good book to gift him for father’s day that would obviously encourage his walk with God. TIA. 😁
